REWIND Live Album Presentation

Angelika Dusk presents her new album REWIND on Thursday, October 22 at Gazarte Roof Stage, in a special live show that promises to transport us straight to the heart of the ’80s! A night inspired by the sound, energy and unmistakable aesthetic of a decade that, all these years later, continues to influence contemporary pop culture.

Featuring 11 brand-new songs, REWIND will be performed live for the very first time, inviting us to turn back the clock — even if just for one night. Together with her band, Angelika Dusk will introduce this new chapter of her music in an energetic live show full of surprises, followed by an after-show DJ set by Menelaos Koutsakos.

And when we say we’re taking you back to the ’80s, we mean it. Nothing captures the spirit of the decade quite like a disco. So, for one night only, Gazarte will transform into a modern-day disco filled with neon lights and disco balls — a place to dance, connect with the people around us and simply enjoy the “now”, just like we used to.

Press REWIND and join us on a journey back to the magic of the ’80s!

REWIND, in Angelika Dusk’s own words:

Rewind. Going back. Returning to my roots to rediscover who I truly am.

My roots lie in the 80s.After a period of stepping back from music, I returned by writing an album that feels as though it was made in 1984. This is my truth, this is who I am. I’ll see you there 🎶

What you need to know before coming to Gazarte:

🪩 REWIND is officially released on October 16, but until then, you can get warmed up with the first songs from the album that are already available: Deeper Love | Breaking My Heart | Miracle | Cry

🪩 The album will be available on vinyl and as a Special Edition Cassette Boxset, capturing the sound of the ’80s the way it was truly meant to be heard. Both the album and exclusive merchandise will be available at Gazarte, so anyone who wants to can take home their own little souvenir from the ’80s.

🪩 Joining Angelika in the creation of REWIND is award-winning music producer Rupert Christie, whose credits include collaborations with U2, Coldplay and Green Day, among many others.

🪩 If the songs sound as though they were recorded in an ’80s studio, that’s because… in a way, they were! The sounds that give REWIND its distinctive ’80s feel were created using authentic instruments from the era, bringing the album as close as possible to the true sound of the decade.

🪩 Dress code: ’80s with a twist (optional, but why not?)
